“ Got here early for lunch. Seated ourselves. Waiter was very prompt and friendly. Seafood chowder real good but a bit bland for my taste. Plenty of salt and pepper helped that along. Made fresh in the kitchen. My Cobb salad was very good and my wife's cod sandwich with their home made chips were very good too. She did not like the slaw. Lots of sides to substitute. Will try something different next time. We will be back to try the dinner entrees next time. ”

“ J K O'Donnell's certainly deserves a better yelp score than they have. My wife and I went here for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is spot on for an Irish Ale House and the staff was so kind and helpful. The food was authentic and delicious. The scotch eggs are a must and the shepherds pie was the best I've had. We also tried their fried chicken sandwich and fries, they were wonderful. We were recommended the banoffee by our waiters. That was a lovely caramel and banana pudding dessert. Everything was wonderful. We certainly recommend giving J K a try! ”

“ Honestly they might have the best chicken sandwich in downtown Fort Wayne (only challenged by Ophelia's). Their garlic aioli is sooooo delicious. The whole atmosphere of the pub is fantastic for a nice fall day to listen to an audio book on the patio and drink a nice ale but then at night they have a lively bar crowd and a backyard patio set up depending on the night and I love how alive the place feels. People are very casual but nice and the food is so so so good! I swear everything on the menu is delicious. I've had the Caesar salad which is great, the stew is to die for, the burgers are amazing and the chips (fries lol) are so crisp but fat and flavorful and well seasoned. They also have delicious sweet potato fries as well. Definitely try the mustard on the table with their pretzels it's so good. Anyways yeah great beer selection as well. Def would recommend for lunch downtown or a stop in at night during a bar crawl. Good ranch too! I've been here so many times for the burger lol ”

“ Neighborhood bar feel. Sat at the bar and made to feel like one of the regulars. Post-work crowd. Ordered chips to snack on forgetting we were at an Irish Bar. The 'French Fries' were perfect with the garlic aioli. Five stars for what we were looking for at that time of day! ”

“ First time back in fort Wayne in close to 10 years. Needed some lunch in the downtown area and this place popped up in my search. This is a 21+ establishment. Usually I associate Sheppards Pie with an Irish place. So, I had already determined this was what I was going to get. Once I walked in I took a seat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender, Mike. To humor myself, I took a glance at the menu. And I am glad I did. Because, if I didn't, I wouldn't have seen the Cod Burger. I asked Mike to chose between the 2, and without hesitation he said the Cod Burger. It did take a while for it to come out. But it was worth the wait. A cod cake, with what appeared to be no fillers. 100% fish and spices. I added a piece of cheese to it, and of course the mayo has to be there. And this was great. Something I never had before. Every bite just seemed to hit the spot. And you can tell it was freshly cooked. The "burger" came with a side of homemade fries. Ooops, I mean JK Chips. Usually I am not a fan of these, but these were pretty good. They also came with some kind of dipping sauce. Im thinking a garlic aoili? That added great flavor. I am glad I chose this place. Even the celtic music in the background was tolerable. I would definitely go back. ”

“ Yum! I'm always down for some Sheppards Pie and this place did not disappoint! I should also state that three people for our 9 person group got the lamb burger and lover it as well. I know the pie doesn't look like much but the taste was divine. My only suggestion would to have more veggies as it was mostly potatoes and gravy but.. I'm not complaining Also another side note, the door says "only over 21 allowed" but I'm assuming that is for the evening because my 10year old came with and they had a kids menu. ”

“ I cannot say enough good things about this establishment! I recently visited JKO's for the first time and was blown away by the food, ambiance, and drinks. During a lunch break from an event my companion was working, I ate one of the best Reuben sandwiches (without kraut or dressing) and had their delicious potato leek soup. I was also turned onto the Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime hard cider! I have never enjoyed cider, but this absolutely changed my mind about it! I tend to enjoy sweeter drinks and this one didn't disappoint. In fact, I can't wait to order it again. My date had the banger's and mash, not leaving one iota of food left on his plate. The service was top-notch, never leaving us time to completely finish our drinks before refills were offered. We hadn't expected to spend quite as much time savoring our food and drinks, but for JKO's, we MADE time! I can't wait to return. ”

“ Another A+ visit to JKs. I'm still trying to figure out how to turn my basement into a mini version of this place. Easy going, laid back, eclectic ambiance. Good food and good company. The only improvement would be some background music. It would add to the great atmmostohere here. ”
